How CronTools handles cron expressions, technical service data, and browser preferences.
Effective: June 21, 2026
Information CronTools processes
Cron expressions entered into the generator, explainer, validator, next-run calculator, and playground are processed in your browser. CronTools does not require an account and does not store these expressions in an application database.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the service.
Local storage and cookies
CronTools uses browser local storage to remember your light or dark theme preference. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and feature usage. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may process information such as visited pages, approximate location, device type, browser information, and interaction events. CronTools does not currently use advertising cookies.
How information is used
Technical information may be used to operate the website, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, maintain security, measure aggregate traffic, and understand service reliability. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers and external links
Infrastructure providers may process limited technical information on our behalf when hosting or delivering CronTools. Google may process analytics information as a service provider. The website may also link to third-party services whose privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Data retention and your choices
CronTools does not retain cron expressions in an application database. Hosting and security logs may be retained by service providers for limited operational periods. You can remove the saved theme preference by clearing this site's browser data. Privacy questions or requests can be submitted through our contact page.
Children's privacy
CronTools is a general developer utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or user profiles.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. This policy must be reviewed before contact forms, advertising, or other data-collecting features are introduced.
