Terms
Terms of Service
The rules and responsibilities that apply when using CronTools.
Effective: June 21, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using CronTools, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its tools.
The service
CronTools provides browser-based utilities and educational content for generating, explaining, validating, and simulating cron expressions. No account or paid subscription is currently required. We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
Acceptable use
You may use CronTools for lawful personal and commercial work. You may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious code, overload the website, scrape it in a way that disrupts availability, or use it to violate another person's rights or applicable law.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing and testing cron expressions before using them in production. Scheduling behavior can vary by platform, timezone, daylight-saving rules, and cron implementation. Keep backups and apply appropriate monitoring, permissions, and operational safeguards to scheduled jobs.
Intellectual property
CronTools, its original website design, software, and written content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Cron expressions and output you enter or generate remain available for you to use in your own projects. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
No warranties
CronTools is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular production environment.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CronTools and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the website, including failed jobs, missed schedules, data loss, or service interruption.
Third-party services
CronTools may link to or describe third-party platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies, and CronTools is not responsible for their availability, content, or operation.
Changes
We may update these terms as CronTools evolves. Updated terms become effective when posted with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
